ConnecTI’s monthly social action panels return this month with a focus on the trauma families face from ICE/Immigration policies and what we as Memphians can do to support this community. We will be joined by the Executive Director of Las Americas Youth Development Center Greg Diaz, immigration attorney Elissa Taub, KIPP Memphis Academy Middle teacher Michelle Fuentes, and Rhodes student and activist Alyen Mercado. We will also be joined by Christina Swatzell and Luis Melean of Mid-South Immigration Advocates who will discuss their Asylum Initiative Project in Tallahatchie, MS.
