Young Families
Tot Shabbat – Tot Shabbat is an opportunity to celebrate Shabbat morning with our youngest members, teach them to love Judaism, and help them know our synagogue as a second home. We get together for Shabbat singing and fun and to take advantage of our little ones’ boundless wiggles.
Youth Groups (Grades 6-12)
- JYG – JYG is the Junior Youth Group designed for 6th-8th graders who are looking to create long-lasting friendships and memories among their Jewish peers.
- MeFTY – MeFTY is the Temple Youth Group for our 9th-12th grades. This community gives teens an opportunity to socialize and connect with their Jewish peers outside of their TI CHAI classrooms.
Scouts – Cub Scouting is family-oriented fun with a purpose for first through fifth graders! Scouts learn leadership, character development, sportsmanship, fitness, knot tying, camping, archery, and citizenship, and participate in the annual Pinewood Derby. As a Cub Scout, you do your best and help others.
ConnecTI (20s & 30s)
ConnecTI (20s & 30s)- ConnecTI provides a holistic Jewish experience through socially, spiritually, and professionally fulfilling opportunities for Memphians in their 20s and 30s with a mission to connect to each other, to our Jewish community, and to Memphis.
Free Birds (50s & 60s)
We are interested in starting groups for empty nesters and others in their 50s & 60s! If you are interested in being a part of this community and would like updates, please email Faith Ruch.
Prime Timers
Say Chai Chavurah – Say Chai Chavurah is a weekly fellowship initiative that will provide not only Jewish learning opportunities focusing on Judaism and Israeli culture but will also provide a space for checking in with one another. Join us virtually every week on Thursdays at 10 AM to learn, laugh, and “say Chai!”
