Music is at the heart of what we do at Temple Israel, and through TIMPO Sessions, we bring local music to our East Memphis community. The first TIMPO Session will feature the Stax 910 Band, the “flagship ensemble for Stax Music Academy and performs many different styles of music, including the Stax Records catalog, rhythm & blues, funk, and contemporary jazz.” This event is free, and everyone from the community is welcome to celebrate the music that makes Memphis who we are.
