As we move towards spring, we hope you’ll nurture your spiritual roots with a restorative and musical havdalah experience led by Spirit & Matter at the TI Crosstown Suite. This Nefesh Havdalah, held at TI-Crosstown, Suite 457, will focus on the idea of rootedness as a source of strength in uncertain times and how remembering the dreams of the past can inspire us in the present.
Our musical journey will begin at 5:30 pm and conclude with havdalah, followed by an opportunity to connect as a community over refreshments.
Spirit & Matter is a musical project of Temple Israel that seeks to uncover the sacred that surrounds us by shaping musical experiences connecting ancient Jewish wisdom with the experience of being human in the 21st century. Grounded in the musical legacy of Reform Judaism, Spirit & Matter also incorporates diverse musical styles including Blues, R&B, Middle Eastern, and World Music as vehicles for deep introspection and spiritual nourishment.
