Tashlich means “to cast off” and it is a Jewish Tradition to cast off our sins and faults so we can enter the new year with a clean slate. Meet us at Jones Pond Pavillion (North of the Visitor Center at Shelby Farms Park) starting at 4:30 pm to pick up your DIY Tashlich kit and you’ll be able to find your own space at one of Shelby Farms lakes to participate in this ritual.
